Safari in Africa was (as you probably imagine) was one of the greatest adventures of my life! Not only did I get to meet other adventurous people, but I also was privileged to see animals that I had only dreamed of seeing in the past. The thrill of the African wild was a feeling that I wish to experience again.

Of course the best part of Africa is the sweet children who normally have empty stomachs and perfect smiles. I cannot forget the friendly hearts of the orphans that undeniably helped me understand the meaning of hope. I will always remember my trip primarily by the young people I met in the orphanages.

Saudi Arabia was one of those places that I apprehended to only read about or hear about, but things have changed. As I have been residing in Saudi Arabia, I have been able to see the other side of the world with my own eyes. Every day I am reminded that Utah is on opposite hemisphere from where I am; however, I know that I am here for a reason and I'm thankful for my days here in the Arabian desert.

This is one of my favorite camels. I might bring her home to the States... who knows?
